Meeting the Richards for Family Photoshoot in Camden

We met the Richards’ just outside a chic cafe in Primrose Hill with their daughter and son, George and Rose. The kids took the liberty of bringing their trusty sidekick Buster the Jack Russel (we always welcome furry little friends to our shoots).

Mrs Richards had been looking to do a Family Photography Session in Camden town. They eventually decided on some family photography in Primrose Hill, where they live. However, she couldn’t find one that matched her needs and expectations of creating something authentic, that is until she found us.

We believe in creating genuine moments and getting to know our clients before taking their pictures. We had a lovely chat with the family and learnt a bit more about their hobbies and interests as a family. It was clear that the Richards were a very social, outgoing and arts & culture-loving family. They been to multiple holiday destinations and thrive on learning about new ideas and world views.

So with its eclectic mix of markets, canals and heritage sites, we decided to do a family photoshoot in Camden Town.

We started our shoot in Stables Market, and we allowed the family to roam free and explore, where we followed them around with our cameras to capture authentic moments. So instead of trying to pose them all the time. We took pictures of the family buying food, eating food together, sharing jokes and discovering different markets.

We then took them along the canal, where we took pictures of the family hand in hand, walking along the canals (annoying cyclists in the process). With its scenic backdrop and a picturesque sky, the Regents canal made for a beautiful place for a walking shot, with the family left to discuss inside jokes and their time at the market.

Our Marathon walks eventually ended us back at Primrose Hill, where we took our final pictures of the family at with golden hour hitting the beautiful blades of grass at Primrose Hill. We all agreed that this was our favourite set of pictures! (see below!)

And this is where we said our final goodbyes, not without taking Mrs Richards delicious sandwiches, where we discussed how they felt about the shoot, and we were glad to know that they had an extremely positive experience!

Come Join us and grab your family an experience they won’t forget!
